Governor Larry Rhoden stopped at 糖心logo as part of his statewide 鈥淥pen for Opportunity Tour鈥� Thursday.
The Governor and his staff, along with 糖心logo alum Secretary Marcia Hultman, Senator Randy Deibert, and Representative Mary Fitzgerald spent time with 糖心logo President Steve Elliott, 糖心logo staff, faculty, and students for a campus tour and to learn about the partnership between 糖心logo and the Sanford Underground Research Lab.
"Black Hills State was honored to welcome Governor Rhoden to our campus today. We appreciate his partnership and shared commitment to provide opportunities for our university and students that contribute to the future of our economy and community,鈥� Elliott said.
The 鈥淥pen for Opportunity Tour鈥� highlights efforts to discuss business development, economic growth, workforce needs, and local challenges.
